Vancouver Canucks @ Mighty Ducks of Anaheim

Another game with my Uncle Mike using tickets he got through Disney. Unfortunately, this game didn't go so well for the Canucks. The Mighty Ducks won, making this the first time I saw the Canucks lose.

Vancouver Canucks @ Mighty Ducks of Anaheim

This was my first Canucks game. I had become a fan of theirs, and hockey in general, during the 1994 Stanley Cup Playoffs. I wore two jerseys to this game. A Canucks jersey on top and a Mighty Ducks jersey beneath it. Vancouver won the game 6-2, and Alexander Mogilny had a hat trick. I was sad that I didn't get to see my favorite player Pavel Bure play, because he had injured his knee earlier in the strike-shortened season.

Vancouver Canucks @ Anaheim Ducks

My first time going to a Canucks playoff game, this being Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals in Anaheim, CA. Honda Center, home of the Ducks, was all decked out for the playoffs. Of course, there were obligatory rally towels on every chair. The game started nicely for Canucks fans everywhere when Jeff Cowan got an early goal. But it was all downhill from there. Andy MacDonald scored a hat trick for the Ducks, in a 5-1 victory over the Canucks. Roberto Luongo even got pulled in this game after letting in the 4th goal. Oh yeah, I went to this game with my brother Brian.

We got this ticket for free. We were sitting on the glass for practice, when two girls came up and said that we were in their seats. Then they said they had 4 seats and were only using two. So they gave us their extra tickets. Not bad at all. Look at that face value! Canucks ended up losing the game 4-2. We saw Teemu Selanne score a ridiculous goal for the Ducks right in front of us.
