Annie Get Your Gun
The final score of this game was... just kidding. I was in New York City with my high school choir. In between our festival obligations, we had time to catch a matinee showing of Annie Get Your Gun. It was a great show. The music was fun, the show was filled with humor, and supporting actors in the chorus were well utilized. Bernadette Peters starred as Annie Oakley, and Tom Wopat (of "The Dukes of Hazzard" fame) was the leading male, Frank Butler. After the show, they had an on-stage auction conducted by Peters and Wopat. When it came time to sell a broach on Peters' costume, her selling point was, "It's been on my right breast all afternoon." Then Wopat grabbed it, placed it on her left breast and said, "There, now it's been on both!" Good stuff!
